About the Event
Traditionally the tool of Native Americans, to bring fairness and order in communication at tribal meetings. But talking sticks have a place in all walks of life and can be a valuable aid to encourage and hone both sharing and listening skills.
Sarah ( Field of Healing) & Julia Hopkinson, (channel and shamanic practitioner) invite you to join us in circle to learn about the symbology and value of using a talking stick.
The first part of our time together will be exploring the elements and symbology that make up a talking stick and we will then follow our inner guidance to intuitively create our own talking stick.
Following lunch and some free time to walk the Field of Healing and connect with our talking stick, we will come together in circle for the remainder of the day to use our talking sticks in conscious communication, both sharing and listening.
Sticks, wire, twine and some decorations will be provided for you but please bring along any other items that you would like to include and that have personal meaning. These can be crystals, fur, feathers, jewellery, beads etc
Places limited to 12 to allow us the time to honour each other as we share.
Contribution is £45.00 - Includes basic talking stick materials, hot and cold drinks.
Please bring your lunch and other items you may want to add to your stick.
